Most my celler is Va(/per) or Va/or(/per). Somewhat misleading because I've added some perique or orientals to some of my bulk. Apart from some unicorn and limited odds and ends my cellar is mostly finished ("Time to stop cultivating and start harvesting").

If I was to make a top 5, it would be my "Real Deep" section plus the hard choice of my favorite oriental blend. And some blending orientals/perique. Anyways...

--Real Deep-- (around 10+ pounds-ish)

Sutliff Match Elizabethan
D&R AP Rimboche
1792/FVF/BBF

I would not say that these are/are not my top or favorites but, the 5 largest (currently) by volume are:

Match Dunhill 965
Match Edgeworth RR
MB VA #1
SG Skiff Mixture
SG BBF

*Correction: I actually have more Sutliff 507C VA Slices than any other blend (I forgot those 5lb bags :) )
** I, also, did not include any Esotericas because it may be impolite...

The following is based on the scenario of me placing an order right now to build a cellar containing only five blends.

1. Sutliff Match Victorian
2. Newminster Superior Navy Flake
3. C&D York Town
4. C&D Orient Silk
5. P.S. Luxury Bullseye Flake

All are available in bulk, and are generally readily available. I would be more than happy to cellar deep with just these five. puffy

I don't have my spread sheet handy, but I think my current weight leaders are:

Marlin Flake
Hal o' the Wynd
H&H Anniversary Kake
PS Cube Cut (being super cheap and a very satisfying smoke)
Mac Baren Club Blend

Pretty close to the top 5:

Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake
OGS
Mac Baren HH Burley Flake
Mac Baren Vanilla Cream Flake
PS Luxury Navy Flake

Currently available, since some of what I cellared is no longer in production. In no particular order:
1. Esoterica - Dunbar
2. Savinelli - Doblone d'Oro
3. Gawith - St James Flake
4. PS - LBF
5. Gawith - FVF

I'm pretty much done buying anything that K&K makes, since they've been swapping out components for cheaper stuff and it shows. The stuff they were making up till recently was excellent, so look for tins from 2018 and before.

One last blend to cellar:
6. C&D Yorktown

Oh, so you're the guy who made a run on Oriental Silk? Seems to be sold out at TP & SP

Wow, SG FVF sure does make quite a few of your lists.
What the heck am I missing?

Another thing to consider adding to your deep cellar lists might be any favorite "local" tobacco shop blends. Mine is The Country Squire. I have a nagging feeling that the legislation we are all dreading will eventually force these folks out of business forever.

I like tasting different blends - so my cellar is more wide than deep.

1. A couple of blends were cellared deep by accident - When I started smoking I bought a lot of Lane 1-Q, and since I smoke it 7-8 times a year, it will last long - Very long
2. When I purchased some aged tobacco from EBay, again I went very deep with GL Pease Chelsea Morning. This is a very interesting tobacco- I like the first half of the bowl a LOT, but not like the second half. So this would also last long.

Now the blends I cellared deeply consciously

1. Daughters & Ryan- Rimboche SJ and Rimboche AP. Low prices, high quality and the risk of formula getting changed made me cellar deep

2. Rattray’s Hal O’ The Wynd - I took a conscious decision to cellar deep, and general unavailability in US made me pull the trigger when I saw some in stock

3. Smokers Haven Our Best Blend and Esoterica Margate- These two are very similar and my favorites in the Balkan genre. This sort of grew organically with small purchases

There are a lot of other tobacco I may cellar deep in the future.

Just FYI - Since I smoke a wide variety, I consider anything I have more than 20 oz is cellared deep enough for a lifetime worth of smoke. There are a LOT of tobacco which is just under that 20 oz mark.

Lol was it tough narrowing it down to your favorite 99% of your cellar? A couple of real gems in there for sure!
