What's your favorite brand of toothpaste for stem cleaning?

Flitz…but wouldn’t try to brush my teeth with it.

+1 for Flitz. Toothpaste is too abrasive.
And, you could brush your teeth with it as it's non-toxic, non-abrasive and USDA approved. However, I prefer Pronamel for my teeth and Flitz for my pipe stems and metalwork.

I like a toothpaste impregnated cleaner clamped to bench to clean the airway of estate stems, but use micromesh and water on the exteriors.

I just used Crest Whitening yesterday... Worked pretty well.

I use a Charcoal based toothpaste, for cleaning my teeth and stems, does a great job on both.

A toothpaste with some baking soda in it. Be careful though because some can be quite aggressive. I polish up a brass razor with toothpaste.

Another grittier toothpaste one may use is the Arm and Hammer. This does contain baking sofa.

I think the idea is to combat oxidation, so it's a bit of a moot point with acrylic or other materials.

Do you use these on any stem, ebonite and bakelite included?

I do for minor surface abrasions on all stems. I only use it on ebonite to bring them up to a mirror finish as toothpaste isn't abrasive enough to remove oxidation.
