no one is 100 percent sure what causes them. They're gross but believed to be harmless. I get them sometimes and they're uncomfortable. They do seem to be worse when I have severe allergies.

Yea im wondering if its just cause of my allergies right now and actually has nothing to do with the pipe.

Post nasal drip causes them. Same bacteria in tooth plaque eats it and piles up in your tonsil craters. Take anti histamine , brush floss and gargle
