If you are a Tolkien fan, I think the man himself liked Three Nuns and Capstan. Of course the formula for Three Nuns has changed since he smoked it.
Lore has it that he went through lots of tins of Capstan
Blue.

For the record, in my view the LOTR movies are great -- the editor Tolkien always needed -- but The Hobbit series seemed simplistic and hasty. Read the books first for full effect. Read
Beowulf and the
Kalevala before reading the books for even fuller effect. Helps to be familiar with
The Odyssey and
The Aeneid. The
Eddas might be useful as well.
