Still on that first bowl....
My beautiful wife, realizing that I've been "suffering" through this never-ending bowl, just brought me a Guiness to have with my smoke.
Surely, I am in Heaven. Praise the Lord!! 8)

Well done ranger - what a great pipe! And $35? That's £20: to put it into perspective, a 2oz tin of Dunhill DNR costs £13-£15 in most shops in London. I'm very jealous!

Finally finished. No dottle...just a little ash. Very good day, indeed.
Thanks for the comments.

First of all, you must have trouble walking with that giant horseshoe stuffed in your ass.
What a score. You are a lucky bastard. If you were cigrmaster I would hate you, but then, everybody hates him.
Second of all, I have a Bruce Weaver that looks very similar. I don't think I've ever posted it on here (or at least I couldn't find a thread where I did to link to) but I found the original SP link. http://www.smokingpipes.com/pipes/estate/united-states/moreinfo.cfm?Product_ID=127117
It looks pretty similar, no? Maybe a slightly different cant and bowl size. They called it an egg. I dunno. FWIW.

Looking at it again, maybe mine dips down in the shank more than yours so that makes yours more cutty. I don't know. All this pipe shape stuff is total bullshit anyway. Make some new term. Call it a Devil's Pecker or something like that. Whatever you want.

Peck, that is a very close match. Nearly identical. It's the first (and last) Devil's Pecker I'll ever smoke. I'm embarrassed to say that I enjoyed smoking it now!!

That is the best value I have ever seen. A Bruce Weaver for $35.00????
Man, you should feel guilty about this. You stole candy from a baby.
I would feel very guilty if I were you, so guilty, that I'd think you'd like to send it to me for repentance.
Ok, enough. Congrats on whatever you want to call that shape.
I'm very jealous. (as the rest of us)
LOL

Really though, that is a sweet buy. Congrats!

That may be the deal of the century, a Weaver for 35 bucks is incredible. I would definitely call that a Belge for the shape. Congrats on your new pipe, I am sure you will enjoy how it smokes.

Beautiful pipe! So, I gotta ask... was smoking the devils pecker hot?
Oh.. btw, how does one find a "friendly neighborhood estate connection" like that??
