Today, October 1, is National Older Persons Day

It's all relative. I'm older than some and younger than others. And, once again, who in the heck determines who/what gets a day?

I've always wondered that, some of the days they come up with are pretty random. Here are some UK examples I just looked up:

February 27th:
National Retro day

March 18th:
National Awkward Moments Day

And of course not forgetting the very worthy and important..

April 22nd:
National Stationary Week.
