Not tin art, but I have high regard for the many ingenious ways packaging designers can fold together cardboard to make durable and easy to open boxes for a wide variety of products. Conversely, I am perpetually amazed at the many poorly designed "childproofing" mechanisms for pharmaceuticals. As I whip out my pocket knife, I think of the legions of arthritic-handed people wrestling with these monstrosities. I guess we get the bitter with the sweet.

P.S. The Granger pointer dog is my all-time favorite.

The McClelland Breaching Whale is definitely iconic but I'm a big fan of their Froggy illustrations too - reminds me of my childish years reading "Frog and Toad".

I have a lot of favorites and I know a lot of them have better graphics now. That being said I love the old tin art even though it's more simple. This one feels so patriotic, old timey and simple to me. A throwback to days gone by.
