Prayers your way. Since I have a 7 month old daughter, I can only imagine a fraction of your pain.
The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away.....

I have heard of many of your difficulties and read other posts that hint of more. Today, I've learned the awful truth. I can only hope that your remaining days are filled with nothing but happiness and fond memories. Your courage against your struggles is an absolute inspiration!!!

I can't even imagine the pain you must be going through. Know you are in my thoughts brother.

Thank-you everyone. Through the pain I've sat alone in my room and burned through a whole tin of Irish flake. The room is full of a thick blue smoke and the nicotene has hazed the pain.

I know it seems like I mostly post about one of my sad stories or another, but I've come to find myself comfortable here. And it helps me to vent. Few words suffice to tell how angry I am. I've held close friends as they passed away and it still doesn't compare to the emotions I feel on this day.

You have my deepest regret and sympathy for your loss. Words do not work here. I am sad with you.

I am a new member here...I do not know you....but I offer you my sincerest condolences. God spared you for a reason...take solace in the fact that He must have other plans for you. And He is now comforting your wife & son....
When my sad feelings surface, I remember the words of Sir Winston Churchill..who had it tougher than I ever have..
"If you are going through hell....keep going...."

my friend, one of the great things about being irish is the irish wake.....
the remembering and laughing over all the fun and good times you had when the person was alive. when you think of them, add a happy though to it. the pain of loss is still there, but it is tempered by the joy of having them if only for a short while.
oh, and may G_d grant you peace in your hour of need.
