Greetings from Canada
I'm a brand new member as of about 15 minutes ago and have already read half a dozen interesting posts. Very interesting hobby you all participate in!
I'm a guy with many hobbies. Too many really. I've been smoking a pipe occasionally for about a decade. I purchased a Brigham pipe and it's the only pipe I've smoked to this point. I enjoy it and it serves me well. I have no idea where that pipe fits in as far as quality etc, but it keeps me happy when I want to have a smoke.
Today I may or may not have stumbled on a great little find. I was at an auction and found a little lot of 8 pipes. I think 3 right off the bat are of very little value. The other 5 may be of value I'm not sure. This is where I'm looking to your community for a little help. I purchased the pipes having not touched them or even been within 10 feet of them. They came up and I bid. I bid low and was the only bidder.
Can anyone help me identify roughly the age and price range of these pipes? I'm likely going to smoke them all unless you advise me otherwise and keep the 2 I like the most.
This is what I have and their corresponding makers marks. I don't have a way of posting pictures to the intenet and linking it to here. Is there a way I can post pictures right on the forum or is that not permitted?
1)

If anyone has some insight, please feel free to comment. I'm really in the dark when it comes to these pipes but I have a feeling they may be quality pipes.
Thank you and take care!
Greg
