My experience with P&C has always been overwhelmingly positive. Not downplaying the negatives expressed on here, but without their awesome sales through the years, I would not have the tobacco i have today.

That said, once H&H stocks are gone and the sutliff blending stocks are used up, I have a feeling P&C may feel a pinch. I will be curious to see how many TP and CoJ customers make the leap to P&C and how many SP can poach.

Once P&C no longer has it's unique Sutliff-made blends? Yeah, that's going to hurt them. The STG bean counters ran the numbers, though and are obviously OK with the projected outcome.

Did I miss this announcement on the Forums?

I'm assuming from your avatar you know that the North won the Civil War? :) ✌️

Just picking off some low hanging fruit!

LOL, I just threw away a P&C catalog that came --- a long time ago I called them since they wouldn't stop sending the catalogs and ignored my emails and ended up having to call them again to get them stopped for what I assumed was for good - apparently not. At some point also long ago, even though I didn't sign up for it, I discovered they were responsible for sending some stupid magazine neither my wife or I would ever care for, took two phone calls to two different entities to get that cancelled. Good prices on the Peterson deal at that time weren't worth the hassles that came about after, haha.

Same. Never had a bad experience with them. And I’ve absolutely PILLAGED them more than once with their sales and coupons

I'm a marked man by P&C.

No sales, no P&C Cash, no free shipping. I ordered several bags of D&R and a tin of Fungal Sauces, and they wouldn't let me check out. Kept telling me that my email was already registered, and I'd have to sign in, but wouldn't let me reset my password. They are so fucked up. This has happened before. I finally used a very old email that I had abandoned years ago.

I wouldn't even order from them if smokingpipes carried all the D&R blends.

What happens when money-is-the-only-thing types get hold of companies that provide specialized goods or services to hobby/enthusiast customers?

Answer: 100% bad shit, and 0% good shit.

Hell, I've even seen them destroy veterinarian practices.

Double fun is their greed only gets worse after they buy up everything of a certain business type in a particular geographical area, and people have no other options.

This is why I like cats and dogs. Far too often, humans simply suck.
