Yes, it happens to me but I can still taste the thing that made me want to smoke a given tobacco.
No!I have a question that is causing me to hesitate to buy a vintage Dunhill. Does a metal spigot, either gold, silver or stainless steel, cause excessive moisture??
Why would it? On a well made spigot, the metal is merely on the outside of the pipe. I have several that use stainless steel tubing inside the draft to get the shank as thin as possible, and even on those, there is no moisture problem.I have a question that is causing me to hesitate to buy a vintage Dunhill. Thank you for your reply. I will start bidding on itWhy would it? On a well made spigot, the metal is merely on the outside of the pipe. I have several that use stainless steel tubing inside the draft to get the shank as thin as possible, and even on those, there is no moisture problem.
I think most moisture issues come from stepped down draft sizes, compressing the smoke, and turbulence.
