I used to put everything in Mason jars. Storage becomes more of an issue though. Now a days the one pound blocks, Esoterica bags, paint can tobacco, and square tins get sealed in Mylar bags.
I have the jars so I guess that will be the route I go. Thanks for the advice!

It is deemed inert enough for food use, but is not completely inert. Read the chemistry texts.

You just making this up…?

Mylar can withstand 300 C temps and 5000 volts as a dielectric. Inert enough for food use? Pah…

Aside from that I haven’t seen many chemistry texts that detail the specifics of Mylar as in the DuPont manufactured material.

Have you considered toilet water tank? Weight down with a brick, I think it's pretty much air tight. Of course, the space is premium.
official the worst advice ever given on this site. Even the act of considering this will ghost your pipe with that old public bathroom smell that can not be removed no matter how much effort or quality of chemicals involved. So thanks bunches for that.

I would put it in pint mason jars and vacuum seal them. Then only have one tin open until it's gone. The plastic bags transfer air through the plastic, unlike glass.

That seems to be the consensus. Thanks for the input!
