I started out with buying into this forum's hype about certain blends, not the least of which is Luxury Bulls Eye by Peter Stokkebye.
I've since migrated to the bulk offerings of C&D, but I do maintain some of the Stokkebye virginia products.
I'm still looking to obtain the least expensive QUALITY leaf I can find and have been buying blending tobaccos and doing my own thing with em.
Of those components, Perique is a must have! It's the truffle oil of pipe tobacco.

LBF, to my face, is one of the finest tobaccos out there and I never plan on running out!

Buy in bulk as often as you can. I hardly buy tins anymore unless that's my only option. I love Gawith, Hoggarth & Co because the majority of their blends are bulk. Save a lot of money that way and gain a lot more tobacco.
Definitely (part of) the plan! My Dunhill favorites come in bulk.. Certain stuff will have to be tinned, but is what it is.
