I have had this with a few tobaccos. Some stay that way, probably need a little airing or drying being that moist, but I would rather do that at time of smoke. At least you know the jar is sealing well.

thanks, there has been a lot of good info given and i think i realized the issue. Moist tobacco and taking my jar of tobacco out onto the deck into the warm sun. I started watching the jars and noticed that the moisture issue is not there indoors. It was happening when i was on the deck enjoying my pipe.
