This brought back a lot of memories sitting on the porch with my great-grandparents, shelling peas, snapping beans and listening to the crickets at night.

Really enjoyed it, but I am nostalgic and have been for the last 40 years.
This reminded me of a point that Cosmic has made a time or two
"Maude...smoked a corncob pipe which she made from corncobs from the farm corn crop. She whittled out a small hole in the cob and ran a hollowed out a tough swamp reed into the cob."
I think he used a rock or what ever to make his point. It's not Rocket Science. No telling how good a smoker that Maude had there, but it may have worked real good.
