Just a minor clarification: Both are sun cured but the variety destined to become Latakia is then smoked.

I have plenty of tobacco I didn't and don't care for. I jar it, date it, and will try it again in a year. I'll either smoke it then or close it up and let it site another year.

I’ve almost thrown out a few blends when I first started. Came back a few months later and ended up really liking most of them. White Knight and Star of the East are certainly Latakia forward blends but it’s very likely your tastes will change. Also two of my favorites!
I’m currently drifting towards burleys and finally found an easy smoking VaPer. Acadian VaPer.
