I suppose it would be smoother and more mellow over time but age of 1792 is something I never really experimented with. It's smooth enuf (no bite for me) new that I never thought about ageing to make it smoother. And it's cased so I'm not concerned about it getting sweeter. I will say that sometimes casing seems to become less apparent with age, and...Gawith lots can vary a bit in casing flavor / strength.Always a pleasant surprise to find a new blend that 'clicks', especially in time to build a stash while available.
On another note, do you like 1792 fresh or with some age?
