To Sell Or Not To Sell

I gotten taken so badly when I sold off 70 pipes that I made up my mind that I'm keeping every one I buy. The guys who just handle estates are as bad as the pipe vendors, giving 30-40% of what you paid for them.

I sometimes find comfort in looking at them in my racks and admiring them. Sometimes I reminisce and recall how each one smokes and what smokes best in it. I will take one down and smoke it occasionally, even if I haven't smoked it in months. Something that I won't do is hang on to a bad smoker, I'll give it away, sell it off or put it in a box of other non-smokers.

It's all about perspective. Someone with a single Corvette has "more" than someone with three Chevettes.
