Almost always ice water, but occasionally I have a Coke. I have found that some blends enhance a Coke's flavor, and brings out a little spice in it, which I enjoy. Next chance for a morning pipe though, I may have to try coffee since it seems to be a popular choice.

Coffee Black or w/Cream = Pegasus.

Hot Tea with Milk and Honey = Granger

Rarely will I enjoy a bowl without one of the aforementioned accompaniments.

I do love scotch, whiskey, bourbon and stout beer....and black coffee.

But never together with a pipe....not even water. Perhaps I'll give it a try.

I do like to drink some Canada Dry after a pipe....I love the intense burn on the tongue and it seems to clear my mouth out a bit.

Usually I drink black tea (Russian Caravan is a favorite), black coffee, or water with my tobacco.
When I go for liquor, I think I've settled on aquavit as my favorite partner. The carraway and such acts as a palate cleanser to bring the leaf's flavor back into focus.
Never heard of that before either, but looking into it I think I'd like to sample it sometime. Thanks for the "referral".

Usually coffee or water but sometimes I’ll have a pipe with a cold beer. Type of beer depends on the season. Hot humid summers call for cheap beer or some kind of IPA/Pale Ale/Pilsners/lagers. Fall and winter brings out the big beers like stouts, porters, or barley wines.
