Any idea who carved pipes for this chain?

Wondering if Wally Franks did some of them? Could be dozens of others too, just wondering if it was commonly known and I just never knew it?

Here is a good thread about TB pipes.

I have a few of the Charatans.

Great link, thank you!

I know Comoy did a lot of pipes for some pipe shops, because I have some. Just seen a few similarities with WF styles lately but most of the pipes are very classical shapes.

I have a Mauro Armellini one that is one of if not the best smoker I own. Beautiful pipe that I got for cheap on etsy. I'm always on the lookout for another one.

I think they were sourced from a number of different pipe makers, different ones at different times, perhaps a variety at any one time. I have a Tinder Box St. Ives, and I think it was made by Chacom, but that's only surmise. It's the first pipe I ever owned, a smooth bent pot with an unusual vertical saddle stem; it still looks good and smokes as well as ever. Nice first pipe! It must be about 45 years old.
