@ cigarmaster, I live near a place called Jungle Jim's and I am fairly certain that the last time I checked their tins they had some. I will let you know.

I really enjoy enjoy the artwork on my P&W 400, it really influenced my decision to buy it. Same goes for Compton's Balkan. Who cares what the tobacco tastes like?

This is what I have always pictured a tobacco shop owner as, or maybe a pipe carver.

Also like the Hermit artwork.

I agree that blend name is important. I do most of my shoppingonline, and just browse through the names. I then look at the ones that stick out to me and decide if I want anything. Tin art isn't ass important to me as the name.

Tin presentation doesn't matter to me. Blend name, however, often suckers me into buying some pretty awful tobacco blends. I absolutely love old, rustic sounding names which is why, in addition to being great tobacco blends, I love peterson's tobaccos (primarily Old Dublin and Irish Oak).

Growing up in New York City, Brooklyn, and then Queens, I learned quickly to never judge a book by its cover. So, no, I do not try or not try blends based on how the tin or any packaging looks.
In regards to tins that I find attractive, I don't really find too many that are visually appealing. Perhaps McClellands Virginia and Christmas Cheer type tins with their famous Whale. Some are downright juvenille, and I dare say that this is why some find it so easy to claim young kids are being targeted.
