Hello fellow piperssss ...
Hope y'all are staying safe, and god bless you all ... here is my newbie question.
It is true that tinned tobacco is better, taste better and aged better that bulk bagged tobacco?
If I buy the same tobacco ... in bulk [Virginia No1] and let’s say, also buy a tin of the same Virginia No1.
Will the tin tobacco have more flavor... will be sweeter, better overall? Or is just a myth/BS.
I am not a dedicated smoker, just getting to know some of my limitations with tobacco … preferring the mild aromatic … as stronger tobacco make me dizzy [newbie syndrome of nicotine tolerance … but getting there]. But if tinned tobacco is better, then I am ordering the wrong kind … Lets me know your more experienced wisdom in this area. As always, you guys will know better … and I will appreciate your responses. [Diablo out]
Just a comment on nicotine; if you enjoy the buzz then go for it and enjoy.
Here's my story for a different perspective; For over 35 years I was addicted to cigarettes. Before I switched to a pipe I was smoking 40 cigs a day.
Every 30 minutes I would start to crave.
Ten years ago I switched to a pipe. At first the blends that I smoked had mild to medium nicotine levels but once I found on-line tobacconists I intentionally ordered blends with mild Vit N levels.
Now I can go many hours without a smoke and not even notice when otherwise occupied.
Since I don't like to clench a pipe I rarely light up when driving trucks. When I smoked cigarettes and a craving struck, I'd want one
now.
Since taking up the pipe I'm content to wait until I get to my destination or until I hit a freeway.
By avoiding nicotine I've become a bit of a lightweight in that regard [I inhale]
Although there's more than a few blends that I'd love to try but are excluded due to high nicotine, there's so many other blends that suit my requirements.
Before ordering a blend I made sure to check out
