They're not uncommon at cigar shops or other places with more extensive tobacco stocks. And I agree with the DixiePiper about them. Though if you ask a shop if they have them, there is a good chance they'll say yes and then it turns out they only have the cigars.
For a decent explanation of the drop in cig quality... Look up reconstituted sheet tobacco.
My local B&M has them. Look for the wide red or blue boxes. They are better quality than US made smokes imo.
My favorite blend... some say it's too pricey... but I say if you gotta ask then you'll never know... or something like that

Similar memories buying cigarettes by the stick for Grandpa from the local general store.

For what it's worth, I sold a bunch of Esoterica and other tobacco on Tinbids about a year or two ago. I can attest, most of it shipped to China. Maybe all of the Esoterica.
All of the esoterica I have dumped on there went to china through an American hub. None of it is worth it for me to what they are willing to spend for it except B.K. Flake
