Im beginner

What is the perfect time between the puff and that follow, without the fire being turned off abd smoke slow and cool
where I face a problem, which is if I smoke slowly and leave enough time for me to smoke, the fire turned off and if I continue quickly, it burning my mouth

It's very hard to say, because the answer changes from person to person. It also changes based on things like the weather and the specific type of tobacco.

I get my tobacco very dry, and I try to light it gently, but completely. Once the pipe is lit, I maybe puff once every 8 or 10 seconds? It's automatic at this point, but that's my best guess.

This is part of the steep learning curve involved in being a good pipe smoker. Be patient, you'll figure it out.

If the pipe wants to go out let it go out and re-light it. You'll burn your tongue less doing this rather than puffing hard and trying to get it going again. Fewer re-lights will come with practice and getting to know the characteristics of your pipe and a specific tobacco.

I sometimes only have to re-light a few times per bowl and sometimes I have to re-light several dozen times. Once I'm more familiar with a tobacco I experience fewer re-lights. I'd rather re-light than burn my tongue.

I find the time between drags is too variable to say a specific number of seconds.

Welcome from the Central Coast of California! Ask any question, make any observation….
You can put your location in your Profile, which will save questions in the future as to where you live should you mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos of surroundings, and so forth. Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details, which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down.

What is the best tobacco you advice

The thing is, there isn't one. It's so personal. It's like asking what's the best food? But even then, there is a huge between a genuine Chicago deep dish pizza and a store bought frozen pizza or one of those non-pizza pizza's with artichoke, sprouts, pine nuts and arugula abominations they make in California. (As a side note, if I ever become President, those places have 30 days to take the word "pizza" off their menu before a Hellfire missile takes out the whole restaurant. They can still serve them but they can't call them pizza. They can call them Kardashian Toasted Flat Breads)

I've smoked Captain Black and but was just ok. Understand that most OTCs like Captain Black have lots of preservatives. They are the McDonald's of tobaccos, which is fine if you like them. I don't think you like them. The company that makes CB makes a blend for tobacco shops called 1Q that's similar, but with less preservatives and it's much better. Mostly I smoke English blends with and without Latakia. more pure tobacco. You really have to try a little of a bunch of different things to see the differences. Cornell &Deihl makes some great tobaccos in many genres. Is start by ordering a dozen 1 oz samples of the ones that look appealing to you.

It's GREAT. Let me say that again: it's GREAT that being a beginner you are investigating smoking technique. You already know the puffing pace that hurts your mouth. Utterly abandon that pace. You want the pace that would allow you to smoke all day, if that's your choice. The only correct choice is SLOW, SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. The flavor is better and you prolong the smoke. And your mouth doesn't complain.

I never learned how, not in 16 years. Just couldn't do it. So I had to deal with a sore mouth all along.

You'll find your pace, especially if you ask every stupid question (there are no stupid questions) that occurs to you. The crowd here is friendly, and they all started as beginners, too.
