Just picked up this doggie on ebay. Have a couple of Tim's pieces, just hadn't heard of the Old West Briar line. Looked to be a good pocket pipe, and a driving buddy. Anyone else have one?

Excellent price on that Tim West. I often look with interest at his work. At that price, I'd have bought one. Let us know how it smokes. I think his pipes are good quality.

Well I don't own a Tim West pipe, but I have heard fantastic things about them.

Congrats on a nice looking pipe at a great price, especially for a West pipe

I have a small (grp 1-2) saddle bit Dublin Old West, and it smokes GREAT! Bought it from Tim about five years ago.

Sounds great! Loved the "old" look of it, and based on my experience with one of his dublins, the bulldog was a no brainer, especially at that price.

I was looking for some small pipes and bought one of Tim's canted Dublins not long ago. I was tempted to go for that Bulldog, as well! I think you will like it a lot. The only Old West pipes I have seen have been small, traditional shapes.
