I’m still a fan after all these years, but have a softer spot for Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons.
We were mad for all of these as kids, best things on TV. Preceded, as far as I remember, by Supercar, Fireball XL5 and Stingray. Good old Gerry and Sylvia Anderson and their Supermarionation!

I saw that movie as a kid in a theater on a huge screen and loved it. The models were pretty amazing! The marionettes were just actors to me at the time.

There are no bad Thunderbirds. The 70s models were underpowered. But they were nice rides. Sometimes that’s enough.
