More shocked that more people don’t do this. You sound somewhat shocked.

But then again , it seems some posters would rather rag on each other or an industry insider than open a PO Box and take advantage of some cross state savings. Ah - I hope they are satisfied getting an important thread locked so the rest of can now only get information from the ignorantly ill informed on speculative threads. That is what shocks me.You sound somewhat shocked.
It about perception my friend. That’s the key to the revolution. You'd have to do some calculations in the rental, time and fuel to have the PO Box and drive to it when you place orders. What's the minimum spend to break even, then what's the minimum spend to actually make it worth the while. If the box is $200 per year with a 2 hour round trip there's a bit there to work out what makes it worth it for the individual vs. just paying the 95% tax in state.
If we only did what was most efficient and socially acceptable, we’d all be Canadians. You'd have to do some calculations in the rental, time and fuel to have the PO Box and drive to it when you place orders. Or worse, Marin County NPR listening tree huggers. If we only did what was most efficient and socially acceptable, we’d all be Canadians.
Ok. Let’s be clear. There must be other reasons to make the drive. Fun, adventure, boredom, your cousin Cassandra? Work it into other reasons as well.I mean, if I lived in Olympia I'd probably find a bulk or three that I like and make the occasional trip up to Cargo Hold in Poulsbo to make occasional bulk purchases and be done with it. Less overhead, no rentals, shorter drive, less personally wasted time.
Give it a shot! You're in France, man! You could get your nic fix on the escargot instead of the pipe!I may try growing sometime but in France snails will eat everything…do snails eat tobacco leaf? I imagine they do.
I have 10 or so pounds of D&R stashed away. I smoked a lot of it in the beginning, and then fell out of love for it. But still ended up buying more at that price, just incase for the future.I've grown plenty of plants and animals, yield isn't always as much as you hoped. Farming pursuits can take years of trail and error to produce decent results.
500 bags of this, just in case. If you feel like I do about tobacco, this bullshit might save your life.

No sales tax in Oregon eitherWhy not rent a PO Box in Portland?
EDIT: Or make friends with someone in a free state who can forward goods on to you? Or move?
I was done along time ago, then there were some crazy deals in the buy and sell section within Canada. The prices were actually cheaper in Canadian dollars then they were selling in the US, so of course i had to buy them. So I ended up with a good 10 pounds more. Which is a long time for me on top of what I already had. Custom Cuban rolls are my latest thing but then that's getting pretty silly already and I have to stopI have more than enough to last me a few lifetimes. I'll miss the thrill of the hunt tracking down the latest and greatest 'magic bullet' !
I had five Samsun in the first year - fifteen or so plants, culled down to the best/biggest ones, then stuck in buckets in the corner of the garden. How many plants do folks typically start growing?
