*fiendishly taps fingertips together* "$1000 to spend on pipes...challenge accepted" but seriously, I would get a birth year dunhill for myself and one for my son, and I really like the nording hunter 07 elk

I can't see myself spending that kind of money on a pipe. But, if the house was paid off, I would enjoy commissioning eJames, Lonestar and a few others to make a pipe for me.

An early Peterson Mark Twain, a Rad Davis, and if I had any money left, something by Chris Askworth.

MetalMilitia, I had never heard of the Nording Hunters collection until your post. Great style and very affordable. I am rather fond of the Turkey Hunter myself.
BullBriar, I share your pursuit as well, but of course the extended collection with the four new larger pipes. Of course, those alone would put us at the $1K mark.

I know three WC pipes are beyond $1000...but if I had that much I could pony up for the rest.
I love the pipes he makes...and I don't even own one.

After reading everyone else's list, it's hard to ONLY pick three. However, in no particular order:

1. Walt Cannoy Suede blast. Breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking!

2. Briar Bird Billiard with a Cumberland stem. I'm kind of cheating because I have one already, but it's seriously the best pipe I've ever smoked and I want another one.

3. Dunhill Einstein Pipe. Because it's cool and I want one.

If I could buy three, thousand dollar pipes, I would buy the following.....
1) Michael Parks blasted author.

2) Tom Eltang spiral carved poker.

3) Will Purdy smooth tadpole

I would go with a Rad Davis blast, either a billiard or lovat, a Tsuge Kikuchi and probably a Cooke. Those three would probably cost more than a G though.
But then an Askwith Morta billiard would be awesome. Heck, even a regular sandblasted billiard would be awesome. Then there is Thomas James, that man makes some nice pipes!
