My best smoking Italian pipes are Ser Jacopo, Castello, Caminetto and Rinaldo. The Rinaldo is my newest and easily the equal of Castello or Jacopo. I have 8 pipes from these 4 and every one is a winner. All are rusticated and smoke very cool, with good open draws, and very comfortable stems (There are certain makers I've owned that couldn't make a comfortable lucite stem if a gun were held to their heads). Out of the four I would say the brand that aesthetically speaks to me the least is Caminetto. I have only seen one that got me going and I bought it. That said, buy the one that appeals to your eye, you will get a great smoking pipe from any of them.
