Thoughts on this Nording vs. Neerup?

Hi all! Welcoming opinions on these 2 estate pipes, I'm considering buying one of them.
Would be my 3rd briar, primarily for smoking VaPer flakes.

Nording:

I have a Nording Signature freehand that I like very much. It has colored nicely, starting out very light with little stain. It is relatively light weight and has good capacity in the chamber and a smooth draw. It's easy to clean and passes a pipe cleaner. Nording does good freehands, being Danish, the originators of the freehand craze.

I don't own a Neerup, but it has always looked a little front-heavy to me, and is listed as being heavy for its size chamber, but most owners seem to like them a lot. So take that under consideration.

Hard call, I love both of these brands, and I have many by both. I think it all boils down to whichever appeals to your eye.

As the guy says in “Taken”, the price is the price. Tobacco doesn’t really matter. I agree it’s just a matter of which shape appeals to you, look like good pipes.

Erik and Peder both make great pipes. You won't go wrong either way.

I don't own a nording, but do own a neerup and love that pipe. Easy to smoke, button work is on point for me (it's a heavier pipe and the larger button adds grip to the clench), the pipe needed no breakin time at all. What I don't see is dimensions of the bowl, if I would stuff my neerup with flakes it would be a 3 hour smoke as the bowl is quite chunky.

I have a couple of Nordings, including a freehand Calabash. I do not have a Neerup.

My advice is to look at smoking pipes.com to see what they have. They are top flight resellers and eBay prices are starting to look a lot like theirs. However, both eBay sellers seem to have good reps and I bought my freehand on there.

As others have said, get what speaks to you. I don’t think that you can really go wrong with either of them.
