water is wet the sky is up there. Not sure why you're bringing it up.
I understand, but then it just got me to thinking... 'what if they're making money?' The rest was downhill.Try reading my post a little more carefully this time.
sorry just trying to tease you. Your doctor pays me to do it. Have to let some pressure off of the ego, his words not mine. I just need the money.water is wet the sky is up there. Not sure why you're bringing it up.
You’re trying…. And, that’s at least a tad better than someone who isn’t.sorry just trying to tease you. Your doctor pays me to do it. Have to let some pressure off of the ego, his words not mine. I just need the money.
Yes, yes, yes. I get it. My point is that in general C&D is simply engaging in microeconomics. Of course their are real reasons to put out a unique and odd product.… but not every month or so unless their is a bit of marketing Magic at work. Marketing.… without it there is no such thing as America. Not always the case. I've got a number of limited releases of blends that used hard to find ingredients, or rediscovered small caches of long aged component blending tobaccos that were in the back of a warehouse. They're first rate, but there's no stock to keep them in permanent production.
Correct me if wrong I'm wrong, but isn't rum soaked Perique what Aleister Crowley smoked?Would rum soaked Perique really have a strong enough following to make it in very large batches?
If I didn't make it myself I'd be in for ten pounds.
Of course it's marketing with larger companies. There's a definite allure to purchasing something that is finite, limited "special". If you can weave a good story around it, even better.Yes, yes, yes. I get it. My point is that in general C&D is simply engaging in microeconomics. Haddo's is a remake of the Friedman & Pease blend "Aleister". Oliver Haddo was a caricature of Crowley in the William Somerset Maugham novel "The Magician".And isn't Haddo's Delight supposed to be a "take" on Crowley's favorite blend (including the name Haddo being a nickname or character created by Crowley)?
This!!!It's a great way to not have to deal with the (eventual) deeming regs. Make 3000 tins, it sells out in hours and then move on to the next limited release. It' so nice and tidy.
You make your own rum soaked Perique? If so, is it a similar process to what a previous member (deathmetal or something) used (and published an article on)?Yep
