my hour long commute has had me using two pipes in my vehicle for over a year now... two briar works billiards. I have taken to smoking through a tin or a a jar at a time. One pipe AM (the smooth finish), one pipe PM (the rusticated). I swap tobaccos. though sometimes smoke the same both runs. Currently G&H unscented brown both. It has been a pleasure to become very familiar with both pipes and several tobaccos. Finding just the right pack, getting lost in the perfect rhythm. Cleaning the pipe the same way. watching cake build. omething to be said for habit. pattern. structure.
Just me? Maybe. But satisfying. I didn't LOVE G&H brown when I jarred it. Currently, I would be fine if it was the only ever tobacco. The jar is getting low. Next? I will grab what hits my fancy that day. And commit. I am unconcerned. And peaceful. If it all went away? A loss, but great memories. Not that I don't purchase when given the opportunity. PSLTF is good, but with fall adding a little MB dark ready rub is just right.
