Very nice, looks like you're off to a good start! Something not quite right with that "Omega" though. Omegas have an aluminum cap on the shank and a "fancy" stem, at least those I have( 5 or 6) and all those I've seen.

That's a nice Pete!
a man needs only two pipes ... one to smoke, and one to smoke when the first one breaks. you have three, so you've got extra insurance :puffy:

That DOES look like ghosts on the Peterson! That Savinelli is gorgeous, and I was considering a Grabow just like yours about a week ago. I didn't get it because I'm nearly broke right now. A lot of people will diss on Grabows, but hey, smoke what you like.

That actually looks more like a Grabow Savoy Rustic than an Omega. I might have noticed that before had I not been blinded by that Gator - I've got to buy one for the collection! :)

You're off to a good start. Down the road, you'll be looking at dozens of pipes, but take good care of these three, because the first ones have sentimental value with many smokers. I wish I had some of my first pipes, but that's another story.

It may be a savoy. good spot. I couldn't remember what it was and i remember i was looking at omegas.
Gnatjulio: It's a good smoke. No gurgles or burned fingers. heavy to clench though. I think i would describe the bowl as surprising. It's deeper than it seems.

I'm very certain it is. In fact if you go to their site under 'products' the Savoy line has an almost identical pipe as the representation.

I'm thinking i don't have my phrasing right. What i meant to say was "you're right, but i'm not overly concerned about its name"
I didn't mean to imply doubt over the model name.

Very nice! I love a 999 with a fishtail and own one myself. Member cajundad is sending me a Savinelli Alligator to remove some dents, I'm looking forward to handling that one in person.
