Fellas, I hate to say "the sky is falling", but I think the SKY IS FALLING. Communism/socialism started with a simple mantra: we have to first take control of the banking, healthcare and educational systems and THEN we can take control of the government. Me thinks we're most of the way there.

I'm not sure you can call this communism or socialism. It's actually fascism which of course can be practiced from either side of the "ism" fence.
I'm certainly not running to Obama's defense so don't misunderstand. But this stuff was coming well before he took office and it's not always driven by just the left or right.
I think it's dangerous to leap to the conclusion that either organized party or any of its prominent members have our best interests in mind.
But I don't want to wade to far into the political muck.
I'll just say...damn the man...damn the man.

jonesing, I couldn't agree more that this stuff's been coming for a while. I think both of the two major parties are unfortunately trying to take us to the same place. It's just that one's taking us via a prop plane while the other one's taking us via an F-15. I'm quite certain that none of our founding fathers would approve of either the Rs or the Ds were they around today.

awww the hell with it. Let's assemble 10,000 good men, armed, at the steps to Capitol Hill, go in and drag everyone of those politicians out, march 'em down to the Potomac, and throw them in. And dare the police and army to do a damn thing. That should be our message.
I'm tired of hearing about ways to protest this or that. Nothing is going to get our message across to them except force. They think they are immune to the will of the people. They need a wake up call. Or wake up bath!
