Never in the history of the world have a people had such access to information. A tremendous amount of knowledge is at our fingertips. BUT…we have a vast amount of people who believe what ever is fed to them by media. People, for what ever reason, do not educate themselves on things that effect their life. There are examples of this everywhere. We allow the media to tell us what is fact and what is false. This irritates me to no end.

The OP would have been better as: Things that don't bother you, but should.

North Georgia mountains.
Fisherman who jump others on a stream without saying anything or even acknowledging others who are fishing that area.
And collectors who are more into buying than they are the hobby.

Neither should bother me, and they don't eat my lunch or anything. It's just annoying. Though I will say - after 3 kids and sobering up from all the junk, not much really bothers me anymore. I have no more f**ks to give.

Too many things to complain about as I am old and don't like much of anything airheads do. Just today I was driving to the shop and had to put up with a guy who got in the right most turn lane (it was a left turn with two turn lanes) and the guy ahead of me turned left and got into the right most lane. I was behind him. Well, I thought no problem until he wakes up and realizes he wanted the center lane. It is like people don't know where they are going. I don't understand why these people are permitted to drive.

People who call themselves “sovereign citizens” so they can try to get out of having a drivers license, insurance and registration. They are usually very loud and ignorant people that feel the need to “educate” the rest of us law abiding citizens. Yeah, SovCits bug the shit out of me.

I get cranked up about insignificant matters when I'm hungry, tired, or doing too many things at once or feel I'm doing the wrong things and backlogging the things more important to me. So I try to go easy on others when possible.

The things I feel justified in getting steamed about include robocalls, snail mail trying to sell me or persuade me that arrives without a return address on the outside of the envelope which makes it clear they are up to no good, bills that arrive practically the same day they are overdue, sales pitches that come in the form of surveys soliciting my opinion along with a request for my money, and people who continually use "like" or "you know" between every sentence, as well as people who try to tell me what I think.

Technology typically frustrates, humiliates, and infuriates me. I came to the digital age in my forties, had a very bad introduction at work, and a worse one when I got a computer at home, a true aversion therapy. Hence the irritating lack of photos in my posts. Digital killed my love of photography.

Okay, enough negativity. In general, I am most glad to be alive and blessed in so many ways. On an hour-to-hour basis, much more makes me pleased or gratified than annoys or makes me angry.

Ooooh finally a rant thread! Mods don’t shut it down, we need to get the poison out.

Lately it seems I go to work just to hear my coworkers talk about themselves. They blabber on about something I didn’t ask them about. When it’s my turn to talk I get interrupted. Look up the meaning of conversation and try again.

At a crosswalk, it is a good place to smoke a pipe or cigar, and watch the show. You can even make friends, you may even end up marrying someone. A week ago, I was with my wife on the coast, taking a walk on the beach. But then we went with the car, there was a woman who looked like she was going to cross the crosswalk, but she didn't cross it, she just looked and smiled, and when I was about to move forward with the car, my God, there was an army of people crossing the damn crosswalk, on both sides of the street, where the hell did so many people come from? tumblr_oejbc6DbAQ1rp0vkjo1_500.gif

I abhor intentional ignorance.

This last week I had a conversation with a pastor who had not a clue the gospels were written anonymously in Koine Greek.

She even did not know about the risen Christ mistaken as a Gardener at the Empty Tomb by Mary Magdalene.

How can a female minister preach on Easter without knowing it was a woman who found the tomb was empty?

Not everyone was raised in a home where looking up facts was required.

But what excuse does anyone have for not using Wikipedia as a starting point the same as we used to use the World Book Encyclopedia when I was a kid?
