It's been a while since we've been out garage sailing. The two biggest enemies of garage sales has kept us grounded. That's holidays and bad weather. But this weekend is looking good. I'm going out and am so determined to score I'm going to buy something whether I want it or not! Stay tuned, the insanity continues..... cray

I also like to go to yard sales. It's supposed to be a nice weekend here, so hopefully I can find a few. The thrill of the hunt, and never knowing what you'll bring home.

Garage sale or from a shop ?

PS: I knew you would grow to love that pipe chair ! 😁
LOL! I do love the chair!

I got them from the same vendor in a multi-vendor antique mall. Owner wasn't there, or I would have asked him some questions about the pipes.

that second pipe looks crazy!

Pretty interesting history behind it. Origins in the space program!

We had a neighborhood garage sale yesterday and at my wife's insistence I spend 3 days setting it up. My plan was to get everything ready in the garage and then early in the morning, with my grandson's help, move it all out on the driveway... which we did. I intended to leave the wife and grandson in charge so I could go out a check the other sales in the neighborhood, but that didn't work out. Officially, things were supposed to start a 8am, but people started coming before sunup and there were so many I ended up staying to help out.

I had posted ads on 5 websites with our address and they brought in the crowd. Ended up selling about $600. worth of mainly small piddley junk we didn't want.

There are already ads up about other community sales around here in the next month, so I'll go to them. Attending garage sales is a lot more fun than holding one! puffy

I saw quite a bit of cigar/pipe stuff today none of which I bought. This Primanos can of cigars was unopened and priced at $25. My wife was pushing me to get it but I just had no space for it. I did see a Meerschaum two pipe set that was priced at $100 but it didn’t speak to me.

What did speak to me were three albums and an Alice Cooper figurine with a working guillotine. IMG_6003.jpegIMG_6004.jpegIMG_6005.jpegIMG_6006.jpeg
