I love going to the thrift store. Always find great items.
That's interesting. Most people have a disposable mindset in the US. I am a person who uses things until they don't work anymore or I can't wear an article of clothing. That is probably from growing up poor. Still poor by the way; teachers aren't paid very well and college is expensive.I ocasionally find something. I used to find a lot of great things when I lived in the states. The problem in France is people tend to use things until they are worn out. On the whole they dont have near as much "Stuff".
Don't know when it started, but it's pretty commonly used word in YT world these days. Can someone tell me when "Thrifting" became a verb?
A teacher saying "found me"??? I hope you teach math!Found me some brand new shoes at a thrift shop in town. Only $10.50. Can't beat that. My image won't load right but they are light brown Oxfords. Perfect for teaching.
I got excited and went hillbilly. I teach honors English. My photo is the epitome of backwoods root doctoring.A teacher saying "found me"??? I hope you teach math!
And you get the prize for the most unattractive photo....
These look like the ones another poster had on a refinished dresser! Love those. Perfect!
