A deterrent? You think the punks that break into your car are up to snuff on the legal ramifications of their actions?

My house has been broken in twice and all they stole were my guns. I have an alarm now and my guns are lockerd up, thankfully the have not taken any pipes. The sheriff got a guy with one of my guns, he's in jail awaiting trial. They won't tell me who it is, if it happens again, I got something for them. Sorry about you things.

That really sucks man!
From several police officers I've known over the years, they all say to keep your personal belongings locked up in the trunk, glove box, or take them inside with you. Even in your own drive way. Anything in the open that could possibly draw interest will likely be taken. With the trunk, I keep it locked tight in my Honda Accord. After it was broken into, the moron stole the face plate to my stereo, the remote, and my ipod cable. However, they left the $200 Oakley sunglasses sitting in the center. It happens, though, and since then, I take it all inside and keep everything else locked up.

That just sucks. Regardless of laws I'm all for man traps and alarm systems with first strike capabilities. I sleep well at night. Hell I don't even get door to door solicitors. My wife is convinced we are the only ones on the "do not knock on the door list" with the Jehovas Wittneses....lol

You know...maybe I will go ahead and hook up a 12v battery to my door handles. Not enough to kill...but enough to scare a couple of tweakers off.

That really stinks. I despise a thief. Lowest form of life on the planet as far as I am concerned. I hope they catch the scum and you get your property back.
