3. A constantly ice cold bottle of chardonnay.

4. I really don't know. The hornblower series off the top of my head, though I'd really have to think

Good Christ anglesey, don't you brits know the proper temperature to store and drink Chardonnay? If you are storing and drinking it ice cold you might as well be drinking sprite. LOL.
If I was a Frenchman I would slap you with my glove and challenge you to a duel.

1. I feel others might see this as an uninteresting choice, but Dunhill Nightcap covers all my needs.

3. Badger Brewery's Poacher's Choice or Beavertown's Smog Rocket Smoked Porter.

4. The complete works of Arthur Machen.

5. My Castiglione accordion.

6. Non-perishable? How long can you keep Smoked Mackerel for?

1. While it's not that good, I have a soft spot for Captain Black. Smells like roasted marshmellows. First tobacco I ever got, so I might have to go with that.

2. Probably my corncob. Seems like a suitable pipe for island living.

3. Mead. And hopefully, I can start brewing some too!

4. Do rulebooks for Dungeons & Dragons count? 'Cause I'd definitely take those.

5. My resonator guitar. And I might trade some of the free pipe cleaners for more strings.

6. Are cheerios perishable? Otherwise, peanut butter.
7. My Becker BK2.

1. Easy Chair
2. Von Erck Twist shanked Dublin - I'm smoking it today so I can't think of another I would rather have.
3. De-Caff Coke Zero - sorry, no alcohol. But if I were to pick an alcoholic substance it would be a 1972 or 74 Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon. The Petrus might serve for a stew, or for drizzling over Kate Upton...
4. Books are tough, but it would either be the Mathew Scudder, or Burglar series by Lawrence Block
5. A small knife for whittling or carving.
6. A can of Spotted Dick - why not.

Sigh, you Yanks win one wine competition and it goes to your head, lol.
Seriously, good choice though. I would still take the Petrus. I have only tried it once and it is one of the highlights of my life.
I see that a case of the 1998 Petrus sold at auction last year for $41,500. A little rich for my blood, but this is a fantasy question. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-07-26/chateau-petrus-1998-climbs-to-record-41-500-on-london-s-liv-ex.html

It masks too many flavours if served ice cold A good rule of thumb is to take white wines out of the fridge and let them sit for about 20-25 minutes before serving. Conversely, Red wine is often served far too warm, so the rule of thumb is to put a room temperature bottle of red wine in the fridge 20 minutes before serving to chill it down a bit.
One of my pet peeves in a restaurant is white wine served too cold and red wine served too warm. The taste profile changes quite dramatically when wine is served at the proper temperature.

True. If I remember correctly it was a Clos Du Val that tweaked all the Frenchies at that blind tasting and put California wines on the world map.
When I got engaged to my first wife I received a very nice gift from the father of a close friend. The giftor was a member of Les Amies Du Vin and presented me with a very fine Romanée Conti. The wine was years from being ready, but I didn't know beans about wine at the time, opened it up, and decided that it was swill. I figured that it would do for stew and promptly used it to make a Boeuf Bourguignonne. When my friend's father heard about it, he didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or shoot me. Fortunately he chose not to shoot me, but he never gave me another bottle for the rest of his life.
Petrus is a very good quaff.
