People around me have been raving about Ser Jacopo pipes, which I have never smoked before. You can just imagine how excited I got when I saw a stunning Ser Jacopo in the last estate pipe lot I bought.
Now try to imagine how conflicted I felt after realising that was never smoked… One side great resell value (I could never keep it, since it’s too heavy to be clenched comfortably ), on the other now can’t smoke it… so now it just sits on a stand, taunting me all day…

When I got a pipe like this, very rare and unsmoked, I sold it. I now regret it and wish I would of smoked it. I will never see it again.

A pipe sitting on a shelf does nothing for me.

Beautiful SJ!! I can understand your dilema. I had a new 4 clover Viprati with three nuckle bamboo shank that I bought through an estate years ago. I only payed around $200 and sold it for much more. I always wondered how it would have smoked.
