Since starting smoking/ collecting a year ago I have had numerous collection ideas:

Bulldogs

french pipes

bbb pipes

prince shape pipes.

bewlay pipes

and tried to try all the good brands I can. I have bought about 50 plus pipes and my rotation is made up of two bewlay bulldogs a bbb thorneycroft a Camy meerschaum lined a couple of london made pipes and my best smoker a Yorkist Avon. Stopped buying now due to changed circumstances, but would like a Castello when funds permit. Its been great fun.

I hated cleaning and caring for vulcanite stems. I also started to realize the higher grade pipes ($300-$500) tended to be much better engineered and overall smoked better. I also noticed that I liked larger bowls. Hence, I like higher grade Italian pipes. Big bowls, nice craftsmanship, and acrylic stems. What's not to like?
