Hey was wondering something...
my B&M gives the bulk in ziploc baggies...
Is it ok to have the baggies stacked on each other for storage?
The flavors wont soak through the bags or anything will they?

I don't smoke a lot each day, so I usually transfer my tobaccos to mason jars with plastic screw tops (they're super cheap at Walmart). If in tins, I usually leave it in the tin.
I wouldn't worry about flavor transfer too much, but plastic bags aren't that great for storage, they are not as air tight as you would think. But, if you go through the tobacco quickly enough, then leaving them in the baggies might be fine.

These are just 1/4 oz samples I got from the B&M, they will be gone soon enough...
Just didnt want the burleys mating with the aros, and the aros cheating with englishs

Wouldn't worry too much about it if I were you. Kinda like having sliced apples and oranges in the same bag... ya they'll get their juices on each other, but at the end of the day the apple still tastes like an apple.
Also I don't think they absorb each others' flavors that fast. Takes a while; especially in plastic baggies.

It all depends on how long you plan on keeping them around for - however, I disagree with my peers on this, it has been my experience that baggies of tobaccos stored together will indeed exchange flavours. Baggies are most certainly air-permiable, otherwise meat would last for months, while fruits and veggies turned to slimy mush within the day.
Just for fun, try this. Take a couple of flakes of OGS (or a similar mild Va forward blend) and toss them in a baggie. Then, toss something Latakia forward in a separate baggie. Finally, grab a potent aromatic with an obvious casing - something like Capt. Bob's - and baggie that. Toss the three bags in a drawer for a week, then try the OGS. It will most definitely have a mildly camphoresque and grapey nuance hidden in the background.
Finally, here is a piece of advice offered to me from a blender when I ordered up a sample pack of their products:
Quick note on the samples we sent you. Please separate them and let them and let the baggies sit alone for a day or two before you sample. Unfortunately, the English blends are so strong that when they are put in a box with the others, they all begin to smell and taste like English. A few days apart and they will be back to their original selves.

My father smokes the Rite-Aid brand Vintage (DreamCastle makes it?) and it's always Black and Gold. Twice in the same week he had to re buy bags of tobacco because the cherry flavor snuck into his vanilla and was most disagreeable to him. I figured they must have just got a shipment in and unpacked the box. It probably never happened before because he is the only one in the region that smokes that particular tobacco.
So I've added more conjecture but I think schmitzbitz has the most conclusive evidence.
