-11 here. Snow melted away last warm spell. It almost got to 30.

A nice and balmy -7 over here. Perfect weather for some Lat Bombs.
-11 this morning, and it warmed up to about -5 when I got to the city after my usual commute. It's cold. I hope we get a few more doses of very cold temperatures this winter.

It's a nice -18 F here in upper Michigan, wind chill -38. There's no need to drive in the snow when the cars won't start

Cold here, too, but there's a big fireball thing in the sky that gives light. Haven't seen it for a few weeks. Anyone know what it is?
It's going to be a brisk 58 degrees today in northern California. Don't worry about me though. I've got a space heater going.
I'm jealous! Here in the Grapevine, where Southern California meets Central, it was 8F this morning. For being only an hour and change north of LA...that's chilly.
Took a picture this morning from my front porch. This isn't too far out of the ordinary here in WI. And it's a big reason why I'm saving up to move to New Mexico.
Oh yeah we've got fireplaces, but their not for heat. Normally we crank the a/c up before we light'em, but once in a blue moon we actually need them.
Around here (Pittsburgh) it usually shows up in late February. And when it does, there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth as the locals try to hide for fear of what's happening. Then we all get used to it, until November when it disappears and we all forget about it again.
