So today im at a flea market by myself. I wander around the tables of goods on display and Lordy, what do my eyes find. A brand new 3 Dot Brigham mountaineer still in the box!!. I scurry over to the box fast as i can and see a mere $25.00 price tag on it. Now, knowing this item retails for approx. $80.00 plus 16% taxes for a total of near $100.00. There is now way im leaving without it! But still fresh in my memory, is the new Brigham 1 Dot Voyager that i bought 2-3 weeks ago for $59.00 plus taxes. So thoughts are going tru my mind, as i imagine my wife rolling her eyes when i show her my new pipe, and commenting on Yet another dang pipe, which would bring my total to a mere 19. A modest start only to a growing collection. hahahah
Now, i have just discovered an out, my wife has lately been looking for a sterling silver ring with a certain stone that is of a certain hieght, colour etc. This same vendor has many rings of this nature so we hit upon a deal of $40.00 total for the both items!!. Is a Deal says I.

I bring the pipe and ring home, feeling pretty good about myself, mix up a bit of bakin soda paste and polish her ring,(looks nice) I loop a string around it and knowing she heads directly for the shower when she gits home from work, i hand it around the showerhead. To end this story, she is terribly happy with her ring and believes i found a must buy deal on the ring and pipe together. So in truth, pipe was 25.00 which i got for 20 and ring was 35.00 which i got for 20.00.

Unless you were planning on buying a ring anyway (before you saw the pipe), the pipe actually cost you $40. You're not fooling anyone.
Seriously, you made a good deal. Enjoy the pipe and the wife's favor.

A nice pipe, a great deal and a happy wife. The trifecta! Some days really do approach perfection.
