If I like Sterlings' Sweet Briar, but wish it had more flavor through the bottom of the bowl (it seems to fade precipitously after the first half for me), I'd like....?

I'll second that. I'm surprised this thread didn't last longer, looks like it could be really helpful for alot of people who end up starting a separate thread for such questions.

Come to think of it, does anyone know of something along the same lines as C&D Star of the East Flake, besides regular SoTE? Pipes&Cigars doesn't seem to stock it anymore (yes, I know I can get it elsewhere, but I'm still curious).

I liked Butera Kingfisher so I should try building a time machine so I could go back and buy some.

I really like PS Luxury Twist Flake. It's a VA. no perique, no burley. I do enjoy VA/Per and VA/Bur, but this one is a really nice break. Just nice smooth and sweet. Any suggestions?

I failed to mention that Twist Flake is a cav. here's the description from tobaccoreviews.com
A pure Virginia blend from the best fields of Zimbabwe and Eastern United States. Rolled Twist Flake, then Cavendish pressed and cut.

If you like Penzance, you might like GLP's Quiet Nights.
(If you're one of those for whom there is no other toke than Penzance, you may not, but I think QN is delightful.)
