OK well these technically aren't considered aro's but I highly recommend PS luxury twist flake as well as McClelland's fragrant matured cake. Both are flavored and delicious.

I hope you enjoy the Uhle's and Peretti's! I wasn't familiar with Peretti's before, but I'll definitely check out their tobaccos. I'm going to be driving through Milwaukee in a couple of weeks and would love to pick up some tobacco in person, but WI taxes make out so much cheaper for me to buy online and ship to my home in IL. Very friendly folks at Uhle's!

The best I've found for my taste:
HU Daddy Gefftl

HU Sissinghurst
Dan Tobacco Blue Note
McConnell Glenn Piper
Of course Condor, St. Bruno and 1792 Flake can all be considered aromatics but I prefer the term "scented". and those three are my TOP DOGS!

Holy Smoke from J Paul Tucker's Oxmore Smoke Shoppe

Celebration from Mission Pipe Shop in California

Aro #7 from Watch City Cigars

Black Stoker from Uhles

Pipers Pleasure from Boswell's
I enjoy all types of pipe tobacco. I choose these aromatics because they do not bite or get bitter and ashy. And, the flavor does not wash out but stays fairly consistent to the end of the Smoke.

Thanks all for such great feedback here,, I knew it would pay off. Thanks to this thread I have been tipped off to Uhle's, Peretti, Milan and even a small shop near Santa Cruz in San Jose (which is quite rare on the west coast as there just aren;t as many piper as on the East.. probably all lane but worth checking out) I have an order in from Uhle's and Peretti.. burly is my favorite so I am very excited. gracias amigos!

Andy - Cosmic had explained to me previously that it depends on how the flavoring is added. If I remember correction that it's added while going through a cavendish process it's not considered an aro. So if you look on smokingpipes.com and other sites like P&C and tobaccoreviews.com it's listed as a virginia.
Fragrant matured cake and a few others like F&T cut virginia plug and F&T cut blended plug have flavoring but are considered virginia's as well. Fragrant matured cake is like vanilla, nougat. Cut virginia plug and cut blended plug are fruity.
