In honor of the PM Radio show question of when it's time to relax, 'do you prefer a book, movie, or music?' What are you top books, movies, and music?
Book - The Sarah Book by Scott McClanahan

Movie - Strozek by Werner Herzog

Music - Exile on Main Street by The Rolling Stones

Book - The Prophet (or some other books by Kahlil Gibran) or, yes, the Bible

Movie - Has to be shows like The Universe or Archaeological shows or Science

Music - Though the Archies are pure opiate to me, relaxation is to Kitaro or Debussy's Clair De Lune, Arabesque, other piano by him. Let me not overlook Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Rimsky Korsakov's Scheherazade

Books - More like top genres: History - mostly American, some World, Mysteries, SciFi

Movies - There's a good 5-600 that I really like out of the tens of thousands I've watch in my lifetime

Music - My tastes in music are equally broad, from Plain Chant to Post Modern though I don't care for shapeless dissonance. I also like ragtime, big band, progressive, blues, etc. Folk music, Gospel, New Age, Beatles, and other assorted rock, though not metal.

Sable - that rounds out my likes too. Love Peter, Paul & Mary, Dillard's. Mostly what I listed is what I zone out to sleep with every night.
