The irony about the 'perfect pipe' (in my experience) is that when I was starting out, I had very few pipes to compare and I blamed most of my issues on them. Now that I have plenty of pipe variety I hardly find the need to have pipe preferences since most of the 'perfect' smoke comes from familiarity of habit rather than the pipe specifically.

I have 3 country gentleman's. Yeah I like them but corncobs, to me, aren't as good in depth as briar. Especially the stem materials as I am a vulcanite person. Is there vulcanite corncob stem?
Yes, forever stems offer vulcanite. At least they did a couple years ago when I made my last order.

I would think a bing morta with a large bowl would be heavier than a dead minister.
