The movie "Men of Honor"

I just finished the movie and I have to say wow! It brought back a lot of memories from Ranger school! If you haven't seen it, watch it! There is also a lot of tobacco use! There is pipe, cigar, and cigarette use! My favorite quote would be " You see this pipe cookie!? General McArthur himself smoked this pipe!"

And it hit a soft spot because Carl Brasheer lost his leg. I got me more than a little misty eyed.

"Men of Honor" is great. One of my faves. It can get a little sappy in parts, but I still like it. :D

I agree with Juvat... good movie, but sometimes a little too sappy for my liking.

I find a lot of modern movies concerning the military are like that. As a veteran, I get where its coming from and the feeling their trying to invoke. But there are several that I've seen and thought they went a little overboard and could dial the sappiness down a little. Overall though, its not a deal breaker as far as my enjoyment of the movie goes.
