Sort of, if your definition of plug is very loose, ha ha. No, I wouldn't call it a plug. But, some might. puffy

Bummer. I've been working on a plan to make an in jar plug, this could have made it so much less expensive. As is the nature of R&D, there is a lot of money thrown at finding out what one doesn't like, or want. Onward and upward, I suppose.

It has been a blast of information last few months. Learning the way and identifying things that I like.

At the moment. My top two favorites are Squadron leader special edition with perique and nightcap.

On recommendation fro some amazingly generous folks on This forum, I tried a few blends.

Balkan Supreme. From what I read, this one replaces the perique with cavendish.

Standard squadron leader: missing something.

So, based on my limited experience, it seems I like Latakia forward English blends with perique.

Am going to try to blend in perique with the above two tobaccos and hopefully dial
Them intkwhat I like.

Does this sound in line with anyone here?
Has anyone blended Perique In with other blends and what was your experience.

I do it all the time! Get yourself a good 1/10th gram scale and play with the percentages, keep notes and have fun!

I only do a bowl at a time hence the 1/10th gram scale recommendation. It can be quite rewarding and has saved a few mediocre blends for me, turning them into blends quite palatable

Two of the main functions of perique are to add that acidic fermented flavor, and this is increased by pressing your blend after you add the perique to get it to meld a bit. If you have a caulk gun, Woods once wrote a piece on using it to compress your jars. It would also work well to make the perique meld with the rest of the blend.

Also, perique doesn't add more nicotine; however, it increases the absorption of existing nicotine in the other tobaccos... so be careful, unless you like strong blends. Me, I like strong puffy
Too awesome. One day if I make it past 50. (MUST SEE PHOTO TO GET IT)
